Encompass Animal Care and Health is developing a veterinary initiative to offer rescue groups, adoption facilities and needful individuals targeted veterinary care.
Encompass Animal Care and Health prides itsself in spaying and neutering community and rescued dogs and cats. We have limited appointment-only times in the afternoon for routine exams, minor medical problems, and occasional diagnostics.
WE ONLY PROVIDE UROGENITAL SURGERY. WE DO NOT TREAT SERIOUS ILLNESS THAT NEED EXTENSIVE MONITORING.
If you are having an emergency, please contact a veterinary emergency center near you.
NON-PRESCRIPTION, OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS DO NOT NEED PRIOR APPROVAL.
We offer a wide variety of products from flea and tick prevention to prescription diets and compounded medications.
If you or your rescue group can't afford your pet's veterinary bill, create a free Waggle campaign with your veterinarian's information and medical estimate. Once approved, you can share a link to your pet's fundraiser with others and/or could be chosen for a grant or sponsorship. After providing your pet's invoice, your veterinarian is paid directly.
"The Pet Fund works only on non-basic, non-urgent care. This category includes medical needs such as cancer treatment, heart disease, chronic conditions, endocrine diseases, eye diseases, etc.
To be eligible: Your animal must need non-basic, non-urgent care only, and both you and your companion animal must meet our program criteria; Your animal’s medical needs must be able to wait the length of our current wait list; You must contact The Pet Fund by email with your request prior to sending your application."
"Provides financial assistance, resources, and emotional support for pet guardians struggling with economic hardship when pets are in life-threatening situations."
Eligiblility guidelines, pre-application questions and full application are required to receive a grant intended to fill a small gap in funding animal care.
"When a medical emergency strikes, time is crucial. That’s why Pet Emergency Fund is structured so that decisions concerning monetary assistance rest fully with veterinary hospitals. Each veterinary hospital has full decision-making power over their funds.
The amount of money available at each veterinary hospital changes each year based on the results of ongoing fund raising efforts. PEF funds are distributed quarterly to member veterinary hospitals in Erie and Niagara Counties, NY.
Every effort is made to use available funds to save the lives of family pets that have the best chance of recovery, and to defray costs for owners who cannot afford the full burden of their pet’s emergency care."
