Dr. Andrea Yowpa graduated from Cornell University in 2000. She then went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ross University, graduating in 2004. She worked in private practice as an associate before transitioning to the not-for-profit world. After seeing the need for medical care among rescues in our area, she was moved to establish her own practice. Dr. Yowpa strives to help give the needed care to rescue animals in the area, and has fostered and adopted her own rescues.
After receiving a Bachelors in Sociology with concentrations in Women's Studies and Studio Art from Hobart and William Smith colleges, Sara went on to graduate from Medaille College with honors in Veterinary Technology/Nursing. Since, she has worked in both private and nonprofit veterinary practices where she realized her passion for veterinary empathy in action by providing excellent medical care to companion animals for rescue groups and needful individuals.
Jen is a Medaille College 2006 graduate.
Her love for animals, from a young age, led her to Veterinary Nursing. She had a knack for finding lost, abandoned, hungry kittens; bringing them home and nursing them back to health.
She has 3 cats and 1 dog - all rescued, and all spoiled!
Erica attended Buffalo State College for Film and Television Arts. While there, she fulfilled her childhood dream of working with animals by volunteering for the Erie County SPCA. She proceeded to become a
receptionist for a doggy daycare facility and is now continuing her career
with animals at EACH as an Animal Care Coordinator.
Kurstyn graduated from NCCC with an Associate degree in applied science in animal management and then continued her education at Canisius College earning a Bachelors degree in Animal Behavior, Ecology and Conservation. She has worked with all types of animals at the Buffalo Zoo, Primate sanctuary, and the Erie County SPCA. Kurstyn discoverd her passion for non-profit animal care through volunteer work.She helps EACH provide high quailty to animal rescues all over Buffalo as an Animal Care Coordinator
Michele first discovered her love of rescuing and caring for animals at a young age by helping to trap and find care for the stray cats around her neighborhood. Since then she has attended D’Youville University for Biology and has worked in multiple managerial positions. After adopting the first dog of her own, Phoenix, Michele realized caring for animals was the career path she wanted to pursue. She continues to advance her skills and knowledge at EACH as an Animal Care Coordinator.
