All animals must have a current Rabies vaccine and bring proof of a Rabies certificate. If an animal does not have a current Rabies vaccine, we require they receive one before arriving to the clinic OR we can give one while they are here.
We appreciate any behavior notice (fear, touch sensitivity, dog reactivity, etc.) prior to your appointment, that way we can make sure we take all measures to make your pet feel more comfortable and calm while in our care.
It is strongly recommended that all dogs wear a cone for at least 1 week after surgery. Licking of the incision site can cause an infection and lead to other possible complications. Plastic e-collars can be purchased at time of pick-up or you may buy a inflatable cone (suitable for female dogs only), soft sided cone, or surgical suit prior to your appointment at various pet stores or online.
